By registering for Gravelton Clark 2026, I confirm that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to the following Terms and Conditions, Waiver, Release, and Event Rules. See also the Release and Waiver of Liability.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting my registration, paying the registration fee, claiming my race kit, entering the event venue, joining official event activities, or participating in the race, I agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

I understand that participation in Gravelton Clark 2026 is voluntary. If I do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, I should not register for or participate in the event. I acknowledge that submitting an online registration form, clicking an "I Agree" or equivalent button, or completing payment constitutes my binding agreement to these Terms and Conditions, with the same legal effect as a handwritten signature under Republic Act No. 8792 (Electronic Commerce Act of 2000).

The Organizer reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions, race rules, course information, schedules, cut-off times, safety protocols, and event procedures when reasonably necessary for safety, operational, regulatory, or force majeure reasons. Updates may be announced through official Gravelton PH channels, including email, social media, website, race briefing, registration platform, or on-site announcements.

2. Participant Eligibility

I confirm that:

I am physically, mentally, and medically fit to participate in a gravel cycling event.
I have sufficient cycling experience, bike handling ability, and endurance for the distance I registered for.
I understand the risks of riding on open roads, gravel sections, dirt roads, lahar areas, uneven terrain, climbs, descents, wet surfaces, and mixed traffic conditions.
I will comply with all event rules, traffic regulations, marshal instructions, venue rules, and government requirements.
I read, understood, voluntarily agreed and signed the Gravelton PH 2026 Release and Waiver of Liability.
I am responsible for ensuring that my bicycle and equipment are safe, functional, and suitable for the event.

The Organizer may refuse registration, cancel registration, remove a participant from the course, or disqualify a participant if the Organizer reasonably believes the participant is unfit, unsafe, abusive, fraudulent, in violation of event rules, or poses a risk to themselves, other participants, staff, volunteers, spectators, or the general public.

Any misrepresentation of eligibility, fitness, age, or identity — whether or not discovered before, during, or after the event — shall constitute a material breach of these Terms and Conditions and shall entitle the Organizer to forfeit the registration fee, cancel or void results, and ban the participant from future events, without prejudice to any civil or criminal action.

3. Minors

Persons below eighteen (18) years of age are not eligible to participate in the Event as a matter of Organizer policy, and are strictly and absolutely prohibited from participating under any circumstances, regardless of parental or guardian consent. Any registration submitted for or on behalf of a person below eighteen (18) years of age shall be void and of no legal effect, and the Organizer reserves the right to forfeit all fees paid and to seek indemnification from the parent or legal guardian of such person.

The Organizer reserves the right to impose minimum age requirements per distance or category. The Organizer reserves the right to adjust the minimum age requirement per race category for future editions of the Event. Any such adjustment shall be communicated through official event registration channels and shall not affect the absolute under-18 prohibition.

4. Assumption of Risk

I understand and accept that Gravelton PH 2026 is an outdoor endurance cycling event that involves inherent, known, and unknown risks.

These risks may include, but are not limited to:

Crashes, falls, collisions, or loss of control.
Contact with other cyclists, pedestrians, vehicles, motorcycles, animals, road users, spectators, or objects.
Gravel, rocks, sand, mud, lahar, potholes, ruts, loose surfaces, drainage channels, water crossings, slippery surfaces, and uneven terrain.
Heat, humidity, rain, storms, lightning, flooding, low visibility, strong winds, or sudden weather changes.
Mechanical failure, tire punctures, brake failure, drivetrain failure, or equipment malfunction.
Dehydration, heat exhaustion, heat stroke, cramps, fatigue, overexertion, allergic reactions, illness, or medical emergencies.
Getting lost, missing a turn, GPS error, signage damage, or route changes.
Limited access to immediate medical, mechanical, or rescue assistance in certain sections of the course.
Acts or omissions of other participants, support crew, spectators, volunteers, motorists, contractors, vendors, landowners, or third parties.
Theft, loss, or damage to bicycle, equipment, valuables, or personal belongings.

I voluntarily assume all risks related to my participation, including risks that may result in injury, illness, permanent disability, death, property damage, economic loss, or emotional distress.

My act of registering, paying, and participating in the Event is an affirmative, voluntary, and informed assumption of all such risks. This assumption of risk is binding on me, my heirs, legal representatives, successors, and assigns, and shall survive my withdrawal, disqualification, or completion of the Event.

5. Release and Waiver of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by Philippine law, I release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless the Organizer, its owners, directors, officers, employees, staff, contractors, volunteers, sponsors, partners, host venues, landowners, venue operators, local government units, government agencies, medical providers, race officials, marshals, photographers, media partners, suppliers, and their respective representatives from claims, demands, liabilities, losses, costs, damages, or causes of action arising from or related to my registration, attendance, or participation in Gravelton PH 2026.

This includes, but is not limited to, claims related to personal injury, illness, death, property loss, property damage, race cancellation, delay, course changes, weather, road conditions, third-party acts, or my own actions or omissions. This release is binding on me and on my heirs, legal representatives, successors, and assigns. It shall apply regardless of whether I complete the event, withdraw voluntarily, am disqualified, or suffer injury or death. It shall survive the conclusion of the Event and shall not be affected by the passage of time.

6. Indemnity

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Organizer and released parties from any claims, liabilities, damages, expenses, or costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from:

My participation in the event.
My violation of these Terms and Conditions or event rules.
My negligence, misconduct, or unsafe behavior.
My failure to follow traffic rules, marshal instructions, or safety protocols.
Any claim made by my family, heirs, representatives, support crew, guests, or third parties arising from my participation.
Damage, injury, or loss caused by me to another person, property, venue, or equipment.

7. Medical Declaration and Emergency Treatment Consent

I confirm that I am medically fit to participate and that I have no condition that would make my participation unsafe.

I understand that it is my responsibility to consult a physician before participating, especially if I have any medical condition, prior injury, heart condition, respiratory condition, hypertension, diabetes, allergy, recent illness, or other health concern.

In case of accident, injury, illness, or emergency, I authorize the Organizer, event medical team, marshals, volunteers, or emergency responders to provide or arrange first aid, medical treatment, transport, evacuation, or hospital referral as they deem reasonably necessary.

I understand that I am responsible for my own medical expenses, hospital bills, ambulance fees, medicines, follow-up care, insurance claims, and related costs, unless otherwise expressly covered by the event’s stated insurance policy.

I agree to provide accurate emergency contact and medical information during registration.

I acknowledge that decisions made by the on-site medical team, race officials, or emergency responders during the Event regarding my health, safety, fitness to continue, and emergency treatment shall be final and binding for race-day purposes, and shall not give rise to any liability on the part of the Organizer, the medical team, or their principals. I further waive any claim based on the adequacy, speed, or outcome of any medical response provided during the Event.

8. Insurance

The Organizer may provide event insurance coverage subject to the terms, limits, exclusions, and conditions of the applicable insurance provider.

I understand that event insurance, if provided, may not cover all injuries, illnesses, losses, damages, costs, or situations. I remain responsible for securing my own personal accident insurance, health insurance, travel insurance, bicycle insurance, and other coverage that I may require.

The Organizer makes no guarantee that any insurance claim will be approved by the insurance provider.

The Organizer shall not be liable for any denial, reduction, delay, or dispute of any insurance claim by the insurance provider. Participants agree not to bring any claim against the Organizer in respect of losses or costs that are or ought to be covered by any insurance policy, whether or not actually claimed or paid.

9. Open Roads and Traffic Rules

Unless expressly announced otherwise, the event may take place on roads and routes that are open or partially open to public traffic.

I agree to:

Obey all Philippine traffic laws and local traffic regulations.
Ride on the correct side of the road.
Follow traffic lights, traffic signs, police instructions, marshal instructions, and road safety rules.
Yield when required.
Ride responsibly around vehicles, pedestrians, animals, other cyclists, and local communities.
Avoid reckless riding, dangerous overtaking, intentional blocking, or aggressive behavior.
Use lights, reflectors, and other safety equipment when required by the Organizer.

I understand that marshals, signages, and route markers are provided to assist participants but do not eliminate the need for personal judgment, caution, and responsibility.

I expressly assume the risk of riding on open or partially open public roads, including the risk of contact with, or injury caused by, motor vehicles, motorcycles, pedestrians, animals, or other road users who are not part of the Event and are not under the control of the Organizer. The Organizer shall not be liable for any incident, injury, or death caused by a third-party vehicle or road user, whether or not event marshals or officials were present at the location of the incident.

10. Mandatory Equipment

Each participant must use a safe, functional, and appropriate gravel, mountain, cyclocross, or other approved bicycle suitable for the registered distance and course conditions.

For all distance categories namely 120km, 80km and 50km categories, the following bicycle types are all permitted: gravel bikes, cyclocross bikes, mountain bikes, and e-bikes. Aero bars and extensions are disallowed in all categories regardless of bicycle type. Use of an unauthorized bicycle type shall result in denial of start or immediate disqualification, at the sole discretion of the Organizer.

Mandatory equipment may include:

Properly fitted cycling helmet, worn at all times while riding. The following helmet rules apply and will be strictly enforced: (a) No helmet, no ride — participants will not be permitted to start or continue riding without a properly fitted and fastened helmet; (b) Helmets must be worn during all official event activities, including race day, familiarization rides, and official training sessions on the course; (c) No alteration to any part of the helmet is permitted, including modifications to the chin strap, vents, or outer shell, or the removal or omission of any component including an outer cloth cover; (d) The helmet must be securely fastened and fit properly at all times, and any garment worn underneath must not affect the fit or safety of the helmet; (e) Failure to comply with any helmet requirement shall result in denial of start or disqualification, without refund and without recourse.
Working front and rear brakes.
Spare tube, tire repair kit, tubeless repair tools, or equivalent puncture repair items.
Pump or CO₂ inflator.
Hydration system or water bottles.
Basic nutrition sufficient for the distance.
Mobile phone with emergency contact access.
Race number, timing chip, or official identification as provided by the Organizer.
Front and rear lights, if required by distance, start time, weather, or visibility.
GPS device, route file, or navigation tool when required.
Any other mandatory items announced in the race guide or briefing.

The following items are prohibited during the race and may not be worn, carried, or used by any participant while on the course:

(a) The use of in-ear, on-ear, and over-ear headphones, headsets, technical earplugs, smart helmets, or any similar device inserted into or covering the ears is prohibited. Bone conduction headphones are permitted as an exception, provided they are used at a volume that does not impair the rider's ability to hear traffic, marshal instructions, other riders, and ambient course conditions. Any device — including a permitted bone conduction headphone used at excessive volume — that reduces a rider's ability to hear their surroundings shall be treated as a violation of this provision, at the sole discretion of race officials;
(b) Any device used in a distracting manner, including but not limited to smartwatches and two-way radios, that prevents the athlete from maintaining full attention to their riding environment;
(c) Glass containers of any kind.

Violation of these prohibitions shall result in disqualification. Race officials and marshals are authorized to flag and remove participants using prohibited items.

The Organizer may conduct bike or equipment checks. Failure to comply may result in denial of start, removal from the course, or disqualification. Any equipment check conducted by the Organizer is for administrative compliance purposes only and does not constitute a safety inspection, certification, or guarantee that the equipment is safe or fit for purpose. The Organizer shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from equipment failure, defect, or unsuitability, whether or not the equipment was inspected and cleared at the event.

11. Self-Sufficiency

Gravelton PH is a gravel cycling event that may require self-sufficiency between official aid stations, checkpoints, or support zones.

I understand that I am responsible for: my own hydration and nutrition; basic mechanical repair; navigation and awareness of the route; managing fatigue, pacing, and weather exposure; deciding whether to continue or withdraw safely; and carrying enough supplies between aid stations or checkpoints.

The Organizer will make reasonable efforts to provide event support, but I understand that assistance may not be immediate or available at all times or in all areas.

I acknowledge that the Organizer is not a rescue service and does not guarantee the availability, timeliness, or adequacy of support, mechanical assistance, or emergency response at any point on the course. I participate knowing that certain sections of the course may be remote, without cellular coverage, and beyond the immediate reach of event support. I accept full responsibility for managing my own safety and self-sufficiency throughout the Event.

12. Checkpoints, Cut-Off Times, and Route Compliance

Participants must follow the official route and pass all required checkpoints, timing mats, or control points.

Shortcuts, unauthorized route changes, missed checkpoints, tampering with route markers, or failure to complete the prescribed course may result in disqualification.

The Organizer may impose cut-off times for safety and operational reasons. Participants who fail to meet cut-off times may be removed from official results and may be required to stop, reroute, or return to the event venue.

The Organizer’s decision on timing, checkpoint compliance, cut-offs, race results, penalties, and disqualification shall be final, subject to any official protest process announced by the Organizer.

13. Outside Support, Support Vehicles, and Feed Zones

Outside support is allowed only in areas expressly designated by the Organizer, such as official aid stations, checkpoints, feed zones, or race village areas.

Unless expressly permitted, the following are prohibited:

Feeding or receiving supplies outside designated support zones.
Crew vehicles following, pacing, shadowing, or leapfrogging riders on the course.
Support from moving vehicles, motorcycles, scooters, or bicycles.
Unauthorized mechanical assistance outside designated support areas.
Parking or staging support vehicles on or near the course in a way that affects safety or fairness.
Any support activity that creates traffic hazards, unfair advantage, or disruption to local communities.

Participants may help fellow participants in the spirit of gravel racing, provided such assistance does not violate safety rules, traffic rules, or specific race category rules. Where official event support is provided by event personnel or Technical Officials, such assistance is limited to drinks, nutrition, mechanical assistance, and medical assistance, and is subject to the approval of the Technical Delegate or Head Referee. Any assistance provided beyond what is authorized by the Technical Delegate or Head Referee shall be treated as unauthorized outside support and may result in a time penalty or disqualification.

Athletes may, however, assist fellow participants with incidental items — including nutrition, drinks after an aid station, hand pumps, tubular tires, inner tubes, and puncture repair kits — provided this does not prevent the donor athlete from continuing their own race. Violation of support rules may result in time penalty, removal from rankings, or disqualification.

Each participant is responsible for ensuring that their support crew, guests, and spectators comply with these Terms and Conditions and all event rules. Any violation by a participant's support crew shall be treated as a violation by the participant and may result in the same penalties, including disqualification. The Organizer reserves the right to remove any support crew member or spectator from the event venue for non-compliance, without liability.

14. Sportsmanship and Conduct

All participants, support crew, guests, and spectators must conduct themselves respectfully.

The following are prohibited:

Dangerous, reckless, or unsportsmanlike riding.
Physical or verbal abuse of participants, staff, volunteers, marshals, officials, residents, spectators, or road users.
Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or threats.
Cheating, drafting violations if applicable, course cutting, bib swapping, false registration, or timing chip misuse.
Littering or intentional damage to private or public property.
Public intoxication, illegal drugs, or riding under the influence of alcohol or prohibited substances.
Refusal to follow instructions from race officials, police, marshals, medical personnel, or venue authorities.

The Organizer may remove or disqualify any participant or support crew member for misconduct.

In addition to the foregoing, the following specific conduct rules apply to all participants during the Event:

(a) Participants must follow the prescribed course at all times. Deviation from the official course — except in a genuine emergency — shall constitute a course violation and may result in disqualification;
(b) No participant may attempt to gain an unfair advantage from any external vehicle or object, including but not limited to drafting behind motor vehicles, holding onto moving vehicles, or using a bicycle not authorized for their category;
(c) Rubbish, food packaging, and equipment may not be discarded anywhere on the course. All items must be retained by the participant and disposed of only at clearly identified disposal points such as feed stations or rubbish bins. Items not disposed of at designated points must be returned to the participant's transition spot or bag drop;
(d) No participant may use any communication device in a distracting manner during the race. This includes but is not limited to making or receiving calls, reading or sending messages, or operating smartwatches or two-way radios while riding;
(e) Participants who withdraw must inform a Technical Official or Event Marshal before leaving the course. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of these rules and may result in a search and rescue response for which the participant shall be personally liable for costs.

I agree not to post, publish, or disseminate through any medium, including social media, any content that is defamatory, misleading, harassing, or damaging to the reputation of the Organizer, its officers, sponsors, or partners in connection with the Event. I acknowledge that the Organizer reserves the right to take appropriate legal action for any such publication.

I declare that I am not subject to any active doping suspension or ban imposed by any sports federation. The use of prohibited substances or methods as defined by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) or any applicable national sports authority is strictly prohibited. The Organizer reserves the right to conduct testing and to disqualify any participant found to have used prohibited substances.

15. Environmental Responsibility

Participants must respect the course, host communities, public roads, private property, trails, farms, forests, waterways, and event venues.

Littering is strictly prohibited. Participants must dispose of waste only in designated bins or carry their waste until proper disposal is available.

The Organizer may impose penalties or disqualification for littering, vandalism, trespassing, or damage to the environment or property.

Littering on the course is a disqualification offense. Race officials and marshals stationed along the course are authorized to disqualify any participant observed discarding rubbish, gel packets, bottles, or equipment at any point other than a designated disposal station. The Organizer reserves the right to report littering incidents to local authorities and to require the participant to participate in or fund clean-up activities as a condition of future registration. I shall be personally liable for any damage I cause to private property, crops, livestock, fences, irrigation systems, or other assets of landowners, communities, or third parties along the course. Such liability shall be independent of any event penalty imposed by the Organizer and shall not be limited by these Terms and Conditions. I agree to indemnify and hold the Organizer harmless from any claim made by a third party arising from damage I caused to their property.

16. Race Kit, Bibs, Timing Chips, and Identification

Participants must claim their race kits within the official schedule and present valid identification when required.

Race bibs, number plates, timing chips, wristbands, and other official identifiers are non-transferable unless the Organizer has approved an official transfer.

Participants must not alter, fold, obscure, duplicate, or transfer their race number, timing chip, or official identifier without permission.

Loss or damage of timing chips, trackers, or Organizer-issued equipment may result in replacement charges.

Race number visibility rules shall be strictly enforced: the race plate must be mounted on the front of the bicycle, and race number stickers must be affixed to the front of the helmet, and must be visible at all times during the race. Numbers may not be cut, folded, obscured, or altered in any way. Any participant found to have obscured, altered, or transferred their race number shall be subject to immediate disqualification. Participants may not take a race number from another athlete, and may not allow another person to use their race number under any circumstances.

17. Registration, Payment, and Confirmation

A registration is confirmed only upon successful completion of the registration process and payment of the required fee.

The Organizer may cancel registrations that are incomplete, unpaid, fraudulent, duplicate, submitted under false information, or in violation of these Terms and Conditions.

Participants are responsible for checking all registration details, including name, category, distance, emergency contact, team name, and other information.

18. Refunds, Transfers, and Deferrals

Unless expressly stated otherwise by the Organizer:

Registration ends on 23 September 2026.
Cancellations with a full refund of the registration fee are accepted until 23 September 2026, 11:59 PM (Philippine Time). Cancellation requests must be submitted by email to gravelton@graveltonph.com on or before the deadline.
Registration slot transfers are permitted until 23 September 2026, 11:59 PM (Philippine Time), subject to Organizer approval and completion of the official transfer process.
Registration slot transfer will incur a One Thousand Pesos (Php 1,000.00) administration fee.
After 23 September 2026, 11:59 PM (Philippine Time), no cancellations, refunds, or transfers will be accepted. No-shows are not entitled to refunds, credits, or race kit shipping.
Downgrades, upgrades, category changes, or distance changes are subject to availability, deadlines, administrative fees, and Organizer approval.
Merchandise, add-ons, processing fees, platform fees, and third-party charges may be non-refundable.
Approved transfers or substitutions must be completed only through the official process and within the announced deadline.

Hospitality and experience bookings sold through graveltonph.com are subject to the same cancellation and transfer deadline of 23 September 2026, 11:59 PM (Philippine Time), except that experiences requiring a minimum number of participants shall be cancelled with a full refund if the minimum is not met.

The Organizer may, at its discretion, offer partial credits, deferrals, substitutions, transfers, or other remedies in specific cases, but such accommodation shall not create a right or precedent for future cases.

19. Event Changes, Delays, Suspension, or Cancellation

The Organizer reserves the right to modify, postpone, suspend, reroute, shorten, neutralize, or cancel the event, in whole or in part, due to safety, weather, emergency, government directive, venue restriction, force majeure, fortuitous event, public health concern, security concern, road closure, natural disaster, or other circumstances beyond the Organizer’s reasonable control.

Possible changes include, but are not limited to: change of route; change of distance; change of start time; change of venue layout; removal or addition of course sections; neutralized segments; earlier cut-off times; suspension of race timing; conversion to non-competitive ride format; full event postponement or cancellation.

In all such cases, the Organizer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential losses or expenses incurred by participants or their support crew, including but not limited to travel costs, accommodation, transportation, equipment rental, bicycle shipping, training costs, lost income, or any other personal or business expenses. The Organizer's liability shall be limited solely to what is expressly required by applicable Philippine law, and no further.

In the event of cancellation or definitive interruption of the Event for any reason outside the control of the Organizer — including but not limited to any case of force majeure, decisions by public authorities for reasons of public health, safety, or public order, or risks of bad weather or actual weather conditions at the time of the Event — the Organizer shall incur no liability whatsoever to participants, and registration fees shall not be refunded.

By registering for the Event, each participant expressly and irrevocably waives and renounces any right to claim a refund, credit, transfer, or any other form of reimbursement or compensation arising from a cancellation or definitive interruption of the Event due to force majeure or any cause beyond the Organizer's reasonable control. This waiver of refund rights is a material condition of registration and applies regardless of when the cancellation or interruption occurs relative to the event date.

20. Weather and Natural Conditions

I understand that gravel racing is affected by natural conditions and that the event may proceed in rain, heat, mud, wind, or other challenging conditions if the Organizer determines that it is reasonably safe to do so.

I also understand that the course may include lahar, mud, loose gravel, dirt, water, rocks, and other natural or changing terrain conditions.

The Organizer may change or cancel parts of the course for safety, environmental, or operational reasons.

21. Withdrawal, DNF, Rescue, and Transport

If I decide to withdraw from the event, I must inform the nearest race official, marshal, checkpoint staff, or emergency contact number as soon as reasonably possible.

I understand that rescue, sweep, or transport services may take time and may not be immediately available.

If I leave the course without informing the Organizer, I may be treated as missing, and I may be responsible for costs associated with unnecessary search, rescue, or emergency response, where applicable. I agree to indemnify the Organizer for all costs, expenses, and liabilities incurred in connection with any search and rescue operation triggered by my failure to notify the Organizer of my withdrawal or whereabouts.

Participants who withdraw, miss cut-offs, are removed for safety reasons, or fail to complete the course will be marked as DNF or removed from official results.

22. Personal Belongings and Bicycle Security

I am responsible for my bicycle, equipment, valuables, bags, gadgets, documents, and personal belongings at all times.

The Organizer is not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced, or damaged items, whether at the race village, parking area, bag drop, aid station, course, hotel, transport area, or event venue, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Participants are advised not to leave valuables unattended. Any bag drop, storage area, or item collection facility that may be provided by the Organizer is offered as a convenience only and does not constitute a contract of deposit or bailment. The Organizer accepts no legal responsibility as a depositary and shall not be liable for any loss, theft, damage, or deterioration of items left in any such facility.

23. Photography, Video, Media, and Marketing Release

I understand and agree that the Organizer, its sponsors, partners, media team, photographers, videographers, contractors, and authorized representatives may photograph, film, record, livestream, publish, broadcast, or otherwise capture my image, likeness, name, voice, team name, bicycle, race number, performance, statements, and participation in the event.

I grant the Organizer and its authorized partners the right to use such materials for event documentation, promotion, advertising, social media, press releases, websites, videos, posters, presentations, sponsor reports, and future marketing, without additional compensation.

This media release applies worldwide and across all media formats, subject to applicable law and the Organizer’s privacy obligations. This release includes the right to use my image, likeness, voice, and performance data in connection with artificial intelligence tools, digital compositing, or other emerging technologies, for event documentation and promotional purposes, to the extent permitted by applicable law. I waive any claim arising from such use, including any claim for additional compensation.

24. Data Privacy Consent

I understand that the Organizer will collect, use, store, process, and share my personal information for legitimate event-related purposes, including but not limited to: registration processing; payment confirmation; race kit preparation; timing and results; emergency contact and medical response; insurance processing; event operations and safety; communication of event updates; publication of start lists, race numbers, timing, results, photos, and videos; sponsor, partner, and supplier coordination, where necessary for event delivery; compliance with legal, regulatory, LGU, venue, insurance, and safety requirements; and post-event surveys, reports, and future event invitations.

Personal information may include name, age, birthday, gender, nationality, contact details, emergency contact, medical information, team name, category, race distance, shirt size, payment details, race results, photographs, videos, and other information necessary for the event.

I consent to the processing of my personal information for these purposes in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and applicable regulations.

I understand that I may request access, correction, or deletion of my personal information, subject to legal, contractual, operational, and legitimate business requirements.

25. Accuracy of Information

I certify that all information I provide during registration is true, accurate, complete, and updated.

I understand that false, incomplete, or misleading information may result in cancellation of registration, disqualification, denial of insurance claims, denial of race kit release, or removal from official results. The consequences of misrepresentation shall apply regardless of whether the false information is discovered before, during, or after the event, and shall survive the conclusion of the Event. Results obtained on the basis of false information may be annulled retroactively, and any prizes, rankings, or recognition derived therefrom shall be forfeited.

26. Health and Safety Protocols

The Organizer may impose health, safety, security, or venue protocols before or during the event.

These may include temperature checks, medical screening, bag checks, prohibited items, crowd control, emergency procedures, sanitation measures, identification checks, and other requirements.

The following cut-off times shall apply for the Event (subject to confirmation by the Organizer prior to race day): 50km category: cut-off time to be announced; 80km category: cut-off time to be announced; 120km category: cut-off time to be announced.

These times are subject to adjustment by the Organizer based on final route conditions and will be communicated through official event channels no later than the race briefing. Participants who have not passed required checkpoints within the applicable cut-off time will be removed from the course by race officials and marked as Did Not Finish (DNF).

By presenting at the start line and crossing the start, each participant makes a fresh declaration that they are in good health and in appropriate physical condition to complete their registered distance. Any participant who is aware that they are not in adequate physical condition to safely complete the race must not start, and must inform a race official before the gun start.

The Organizer reserves the right to refuse entry, remove from the venue, or withdraw from the course any participant who fails or refuses to comply with applicable health, safety, or venue protocols, without refund and without liability. Compliance with such protocols does not waive any other provision of these Terms and Conditions.

I agree to comply with all such protocols.

27. Government, Venue, and Community Rules

I agree to respect and comply with all applicable rules of all regional cities, town municipalities, local government units, police, traffic authorities, venue operators, private landowners, public agencies, and host communities.

The Organizer may adjust event procedures to comply with government permits, safety requirements, venue restrictions, or community agreements.

28. Prohibited Items

The Organizer may prohibit items that are unsafe, illegal, disruptive, or inappropriate for the event.

Prohibited items may include illegal drugs, weapons, fireworks, drones without approval, glass bottles, hazardous materials, unauthorized vehicles, unauthorized commercial materials, and any item deemed unsafe by the Organizer or venue authorities.

The Organizer, venue security, or authorized personnel may confiscate, impound, or require the removal of any prohibited item without compensation. The participant bringing a prohibited item shall be solely responsible for any consequences, including disqualification, removal from the venue, or referral to law enforcement authorities.

29. Drones and Commercial Filming

Drone use, commercial photography, commercial filming, livestreaming for commercial purposes, or brand activations are not allowed without prior written approval from the Organizer and compliance with applicable aviation, venue, and government rules.

Unauthorized drone use may result in removal from the venue and reporting to authorities.

30. Sponsors, Exhibitors, and Brand Activities

Only official sponsors, exhibitors, partners, and approved vendors may conduct selling, sampling, brand activations, product displays, promotional activities, or commercial photography within the event venue or official event areas.

Unauthorized selling, ambush marketing, flyering, sampling, or promotional activity is prohibited.

31. Results, Timing, and Protests

Official results shall be based on the timing system, checkpoint records, marshal reports, video/photo evidence, GPS verification where applicable, and race official decisions.

Participants may file a protest within the official protest window announced by the Organizer. The Organizer may require supporting evidence.

Protests must be submitted in writing within thirty (30) minutes from the posting of the provisional results, unless a different period is announced by the Organizer.

A protest bond of Ten Thousand Pesos (Php 10,000.00) shall be required from the protesting party. The protest bond shall be refunded regardless of the outcome of the investigation.

Protests submitted after the deadline, without the required bond, or without sufficient supporting evidence shall not be entertained.

The Organizer’s decision on protests, penalties, category placement, rankings, and official results shall be final.

32. Penalties and Disqualification

The Organizer may impose warnings, time penalties, removal from rankings, DNF classification, disqualification, denial of future registration, or removal from the venue for violations of these Terms and Conditions or event rules.

A participant caught using another registered person's race kit, or allowing a non-registered person to use their race kit, shall be banned from participating in all Gravelton PH and GoClark events for a minimum of two (2) years from the date of the violation. This ban applies regardless of whether the participant is also disqualified from the current Event. The Organizer shall maintain a ban list and shall share it with co-organizers of affiliated events for enforcement purposes. For serious violations — including but not limited to bib swapping, use of prohibited substances, physical assault, or endangering the safety of other participants — the Organizer may impose a ban of up to three (3) years or a permanent ban from all Gravelton PH and GoClark events. All penalty decisions are final and binding, subject only to the official protest process set out in Section 31, and are not subject to further appeal or judicial review except on grounds of grave abuse of discretion.

Grounds may include, but are not limited to: course cutting; missing checkpoints; receiving unauthorized outside support; unsafe riding; littering; bib swapping; false registration; riding without a helmet; riding with another person’s race number or timing chip; abusive behavior; failure to follow marshal, police, medical, or race official instructions; use of illegal substances or riding under the influence; tampering with signage, timing equipment, route markers, or event property.

33. Event Communication

Official event communications may be sent through email, social media, race guide, race briefing, or on-site announcements.

Participants are responsible for checking official communications before and during the event.

The Organizer shall not be liable for any failure by a participant to receive official communications due to incorrect contact information, spam filters, unsubscribed email addresses, deactivated social media accounts, or any other reason within the participant's control. It is the participant's sole responsibility to ensure that the contact information provided during registration is accurate and active throughout the event period.

34. Third-Party Services

The event may involve third-party service providers, including payment platforms, registration platforms, timing providers, insurers, hotels, transport providers, vendors, exhibitors, photographers, and medical providers.

The Organizer is not responsible for third-party acts, omissions, service interruptions, payment issues, or independent terms and conditions, except as required by applicable law.

35. No Guarantee of Performance or Experience

The Organizer will make reasonable efforts to deliver a safe, organized, and enjoyable event.

However, I understand that no guarantee is made regarding my performance, finish time, ranking, course condition, weather, event atmosphere, availability of specific products, freebies, sizes, merchandise, photographs, videos, or other benefits.

36. Severability

If any part of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.

37. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.

Any dispute arising from or related to the event shall first be addressed in good faith with the Organizer. If unresolved, the dispute shall be submitted to the proper courts of Marikina City, Philippines, unless otherwise required by law.

Specifically: (a) the aggrieved party shall first notify the Organizer in writing, describing the dispute and the relief sought; (b) the parties shall endeavor in good faith to resolve the dispute within thirty (30) days from receipt of such notice; (c) if unresolved after such period, the parties may agree to submit the dispute to non-binding mediation before resorting to litigation; and (d) if mediation fails or is not agreed upon, the dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the appropriate courts of Marikina City, Metro Manila, Philippines, to the exclusion of all other courts.

38. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Philippine law, the total aggregate liability of the Organizer, its directors, officers, employees, agents, sponsors, and partners to any participant — whether arising in contract, tort, statute, or otherwise — shall not exceed the total registration fee actually paid by that participant for the Event. This limitation applies to all claims in aggregate and regardless of the form of action. The Organizer shall not be liable under any circumstances for any indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of earnings, loss of opportunity, or emotional distress, even if the Organizer has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

39. Waiver of Subrogation

To the extent permitted by law, I hereby waive, on behalf of myself and any insurance company that may provide coverage to me in connection with the Event, any right of subrogation against the Organizer, its directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers, sponsors, and partners. This waiver of subrogation applies to all claims for personal injury, death, property damage, or other loss arising out of or related to my participation in the Event, whether or not such claim is covered by any insurance policy.

40. Non-Disparagement

I agree, during and after the Event, not to make, publish, or cause to be published any statement, post, review, or content — whether orally, in writing, or through any digital or social media platform — that is false, misleading, or reasonably likely to damage the reputation, goodwill, or business interests of the Organizer, its officers, directors, sponsors, or partners. Nothing in this clause prevents me from making truthful statements about my experience at the Event or from exercising any rights protected under applicable law.

41. Participant Acknowledgment

By registering for Gravelton PH 2026, I acknowledge and agree that:

I have read and understood these Terms and Conditions.
I voluntarily assume the risks of participation.
I release and waive claims to the fullest extent allowed by Philippine law.
I consent to emergency medical treatment when necessary.
I agree to follow event rules, traffic laws, marshal instructions, and safety protocols.
I understand the refund, transfer, deferral, cancellation, and force majeure policies.
I consent to the processing of my personal data for event-related purposes.
I consent to photo, video, media, and marketing use of my participation.
I confirm that the information I provided is true and accurate.
I understand that violation of these Terms and Conditions may result in disqualification or removal from the event.

I confirm that I have read, understood, and voluntarily accepted all the terms and conditions set out in these Event Rules and Terms and Conditions, which have been made available to me in both the English and Filipino languages. I acknowledge that I was given sufficient time and opportunity to read and understand the contents hereof, and that I am agreeing to these terms freely and without any force, duress, intimidation, or undue influence.

Kinukumpirma ko na nabasa ko, naunawaan, at kusang-loob na tinanggap ang lahat ng mga tuntunin at kundisyon ng Event Rules and Terms and Conditions na ito, na ibinigay sa akin sa wikang Ingles at Filipino.
